Doreen MacAulay is a facilitator, author, and former full professor with more than 20 years of experience in organizational and personal development. As a partner at WellsQuest, she helps organizations unlock the full potential of their people through engaging, research‑informed development experiences. A specialist in organizational behavior, Doreen supports leaders in strengthening self‑awareness, emotional intelligence, and inclusive leadership. She has worked with Fortune 100/500 companies, nonprofits, and academic institutions and previously served as an award‑winning Full Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. She holds a PhD in Management, an MBA in International Business, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Principal, Ian McGinty and Associates
Sponsored by GM of Canada, Ian completed his undergrad degree in Industrial Administration (5-year co-op) and in the evening completed an MBA degree. While at GM he progressed to leading employee relations for over 8,500 employees. Recruited by Johnson & Johnson, he held vice president roles in human resources, and various leadership roles in continuous improvement, operations, strategy and shared services. Part of his leadership development experience included being a Business Unit GM to better support senior business leaders. He led the J&J family of companies HR council and was promoted to a global VP employee engagement role. Subsequently, he joined Bruce Power to lead all people programs and then led HR with a local brewer. He is a past board member of the HR Association and has been actively involved with the United Way, the Heart and Stroke foundation and other community groups. He has served on several committees at St. Joseph’s Health Centre beyond his board member role. Ian currently teaches at the University of Guelph and is a recent past instructor at McMaster University and Conestoga College. He consults with the Canadian Professional Management Association, Boundless Guelph, Accelerator Guelph and also consults privately in both the public and private sector. He recently co developed and delivered a program for the HRPA and the IIBA to upskill HR leaders with process and business impact skills to drive organizational value. He currently also serves as a career coach with the Canadian Marketing Association.
